Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Light mayonnaise or regular mayo
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 2 garlic cloves smash fresh cloves into a paste
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon za’atar spice blend store-bought works perfectly
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Garlic: Smash 2 fresh garlic cloves into a smooth paste using a mortar and pestle or the back of a knife.
  • Mix the Base: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  • Add Flavor: Stir in the garlic paste, lemon juice, and za’atar spice blend. Mix until fully combined.
  • Finish with Olive Oil: Drizzle in olive oil and stir. Taste, then add salt as needed.
  • Chill: Let the sauce sit in the refrigerator for at least 5 minutes to let the flavour's meld. Serve and enjoy!
