If you’ve ever craved a creamy, indulgent ice cream bar but wanted to skip the sugar crash, these Healthy Strawberry Banana Beet Popsicles are your answer. Inspired by the famous Magnum ice creams β€” but made with whole, nourishing ingredients β€” these bars are dipped in dark chocolate and loaded with natural sweetness from banana, berries, and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.

The best part? You can’t taste the beetroot, but you’ll love the beautiful pink hue and the antioxidant punch it adds.

Whether you’re making these as a healthy dessert for kids, a guilt-free summer snack, or a post-workout treat, these popsicles tick every box. They’re gluten-free, naturally sweetened, and can easily be made dairy-free.

πŸ“ Why You’ll Love This Recipe:

  • No refined sugar
  • Naturally creamy from banana and yogurt (or coconut yogurt)
  • Kid-approved and great for fussy eaters
  • Perfect for summer meal prep β€” make a batch and store for the week
  • Customizable β€” use your favourite nut butter or fruit combos

🍫 Chocolate Dip Tips:

Dip the frozen popsicles into melted dark chocolate for that signature Magnum-style crunch. You can use 70%+ dark chocolate for a richer taste, or go with your favorite dairy-free chocolate if needed. Let the chocolate set for a few minutes in the freezer and enjoy a treat that tastes indulgent but feels light and energizing.

Can I use another fruit instead of strawberry?

    1. Definitely! Raspberries or cherries also work beautifully with the beets. πŸ’

    What makes them pink? πŸ‘€

    1. It’s all-natural! The colour comes from blended strawberries and a bit of beet for that vibrant pink glow 🌸
