Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium raw beetroots peeled and chopped
  • 1 large carrot chopped
  • 1 large red apple cored and chopped
  • 1 lemon peeled
  • 1 –inch piece fresh ginger peeled
  • 1 –inch piece fresh turmeric or ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Water as needed (for blender method)

Instructions
 

Blender Method

  • Add the beetroot, carrot, apple, lemon, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper to a high-speed blender.
  • Add a small splash of water to help everything blend smoothly.
  • Blend until completely smooth.
  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag for a smoother shot, if desired.
  • Pour into small bottles or shot glasses and store in the fridge.

Juicer Method

  • Feed the beetroot, carrot, apple, lemon, ginger, and turmeric through your juicer.
  • Stir in the ground black pepper once juiced.
  • Mix well, pour into small bottles, and refrigerate.
