If there’s one breakfast (or brunch) that never goes out of style in our house, it’s avocado toast. 🥑 My husband swears by this version — creamy smashed Hass avocados spread on sourdough, topped with a sunny side up egg, finished with a drizzle of chili oil and fresh dill. It’s the perfect balance of creamy, spicy, and zesty.
We’ve tried different breads, but sourdough always wins. Its tangy bite and chewy crust pair beautifully with creamy avocado, and bonus — it comes with gut-friendly benefits too!
This recipe is quick to make (under 10 minutes), super nourishing, and customizable. Whether you’re craving a hearty protein-packed breakfast or want to try a vegan twist, this avocado toast will quickly become your go-to.
